Inception of Jagriti

In 2001, when Gujrat was hit by a massive earthquake its waves shook many peoples hearts who volunteered to help those in suffering. It was then that 'Jagriti' was born.

Authored by JK Jajoo, Jagriti started with the aim of being able to help and uplift those in need. They began spreading awareness through health care camps, green drives, cleaning campaigns, etc. However, soon they realised that no initiative will be effective unless they tackle the roots of it, which was lack of education in children. Jagriti determined itself to fulfil the goal of providing free of cost value-based education to the children of the urban slums of Rajasthan.

Their roadmap begins from visiting the slums and creating door to door awareness about quality education. Next it adopts the government school of the locality and renovates it at par with any good public school. They ensure that the children are attracted to come to school and enjoy its environment. All the books, uniforms, meals, along with a brand new infrastructure like water stations, toilets, computer lab, science lab, library, sports area, furniture, teachers and principal room is provided to the children free of cost.

Jagriti today has 18 schools with more than 5500 students currently studying in them.

The journey does not end here. Jagriti hand holds every child who joins their family. It also runs vocational training centres of stitching and beauty parlour courses for the mothers and sisters of their children to help them be financially independent and add to the family income. Jagriti believes that this is another step to improve the standard and quality of living of the people belonging to the urban slums.

For Jagriti, the only way to uplift the nation is to uplift its future and it is committed towards this cause.

JSPPL- Jaipur Supreme Packaging P. Ltd is packaging company based out of Jaipur. It has a production capacity of 175 MT of packaging Per day. It also has warehouses located in Rajasthan, with operational storage capacity to store upto 900 MT of material. KJ Logistics is a logistics firm based out of Rajasthan. Its work domain includes logistics and allied work across 54 cities pan India.
